CoST launch event: Value-add of CoST in high-income countries, Argentina case study

In conjunction with Open Government Week, CoST will be launching a new global study on the need for greater infrastructure transparency and accountability in High-Income Countries. Although significant advances have been made to enhance transparency, much more needs to be done to increase efficiency, reduce waste and fight corruption. This study provides a rigorous analysis on what is needed to deliver greater accountability from infrastructure investments.

In the first of four case studies, we look at the opportunities and barriers to greater infrastructure transparency and accountability in Argentina and how CoST can help. Specifically, the study takes an incisive look at practical implementation tools that will complement existing systems and mechanisms to significantly improve the value of public infrastructure investments in Argentina.
