Scoping study identifies need for a Government Decree to provide a secure framework for CoST Ukraine

A CoST scoping study has identified the need for a Decree of the Cabinet Ministers to provide a framework for CoST Ukraine. The Ukraine National State Roads Agency (UAD) started the CoST Ukraine programme in November 2013. However, the recent political instability has meant progress in establishing the CoST programme has been slow. Read more here. 



CoST Malawi unveils ambitious new Business Plan

CoST Malawi recently unveiled its new three year Business Plan that will run from 2015 to 2018 at a ceremony attended by CoST Champion and Vice President, Saulos Chilima, the CoST Malawi Multi-Stakeholder Group and Development Partners’ representatives.

CoST Strategic Review – call for proposals

A call for proposals has been announced by the CoST International Secretariat to carry out a Strategic Review. The Strategic Review will involve a fundamental review of all key aspects of the CoST programme including its vision, delivery model, governance arrangements, financing, partnerships and sustainability.

Proposals are invited from consultancy firms, or self-organised teams of individual consultants who are likely to have knowledge and experience of infrastructure, governance, transparency and accountability, open data (and political economy considerations associated with open data), strategic planning and organisational development.

A market engagement meeting will be held between 10.30 am and 12.00 noon on Wednesday 5th August 2015. To register for the meeting, please email John Hawkins (j.hawkins@constructiontransparency.org) by 5pm Monday 3rd August 2015. A maximum of one representative per organisation will be allowed to attend the meeting.
